The Marana Online GIS Mapping System (MARGIS) was developed to provide the Public with an easy to use web based GIS mapping system for the Town of Marana, Arizona.
Large amounts of data are potentially transmitted during the use of this site. MARGIS requires Internet Explorer 5.x or newer web browsers. Important! The optimal screen resolution for using this program is 1024 x 768. Also, make sure to maximize the application window to optimize the display.
The Town of Marana MARGIS online GIS mapping web site allows you to view multiple GIS layers features such as parcels, streets, parks as well as recent and historical aerial imagery data that dates back to 1937. When using the online GIS mapping system you can click on these GIS layers to turn them on or off for any given area within the Town.
The Town of Marana provides this online GIS mapping system for your convenience and the data is to be used for general reference only. All data is provided as is, with all faults, and without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including but not limited to, the implied purpose. The Town of Marana does not warrant that the GIS data will meet your requirements nor that operation of the GIS data and/or web site will be uninterrupted and error free. Verifying the accuracy of all information through official Town sources is the responsibility of the user. Online maps may be e-mailed or printed, with the understanding that they will be used for general reference only, without any claims of completeness or accuracy.
Some imagery data layers have been obtained from Pima County Association of Governments and are under licensing agreements. All rights to this data are reserved.
This system is powered by ESRI's ArcIMS technology and uses licensed Geocortex IMF® technology. All GIS data layers displayed in this mapping system comes from the Town's ESRI's ArcSDE enterprise SQL databases.
